The Daiwa® Tatula® 100 Baitcast Reel was already known for being light, compact, and easy to handle, but with the addition of Daiwa's HYPER DRIVE® DESIGN technology, an upgraded spool, and the UTD drag system, it's now even better in every category, all while staying remarkably affordable. The 4-part HYPER DRIVE DESIGN overhauls the drivetrain with HYPER DRIVE DIGIGEAR® tooth geometry, HYPER DOUBLE SUPPORT® pinion technology, HYPER ARMED HOUSING® for added frame and sideplate rigidity, and a reinforced HYPER TOUGH CLUTCH mechanism. Its Zero Adjuster braking system works alongside the proven Magforce® Z and T-Wing System to deliver dialed-in casting performance right out of the box, with little to no adjustment required. You may still want to tweak the brake settings when facing strong wind or heavier lures, but on an average day, the consistency and accuracy of the Zero Adjuster system speaks for itself. As with every Tatula reel, the 100 is loaded with premium touches: a compact 1-piece aluminum frame, an upgraded A7075 aluminum spool, the innovative T-Wing levelwind system, an 8-bearing (7+1) setup with instant anti-reverse, an upgraded Ultimate Tournament Drag system with specially treated carbon drag discs, and Daiwa's high-leverage 90mm Swept Handle with Soft Touch knobs. It's available in three gear ratio options to match your fishing style.
